RIO Studio & Co. is led by Mariana Pinheiro, architect, interior designer, entrepreneur, and real estate investor whose work is rooted in the relationship between space and human experience.

With a Master's degree in Architecture and a specialization in Neuroarchitecture and Environmental Psychology, Mariana brings a unique perspective to design—one that goes beyond form and function to explore how environments actively influence well-being, behavior, and emotion.

Her approach is intuitive yet highly intentional, combining technical precision with a refined sensitivity to materials, proportions, and atmosphere. Rather than following a predefined style, Mariana’s work is shaped by each client’s identity, resulting in spaces that feel authentic, elevated, and entirely their own.

Based in Tampa, FL, Mariana's background is inherently global. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Seamlessly blending contemporary Brazilian architecture with refined classic European design and traditional American influences. As an investor in real estate hospitality properties across three continents, she deeply understands market desirability, allowing her to translate diverse cultural demands into cohesive, high-performing spaces for both private clients and top-tier developers. She brings a global perspective to each project while maintaining a deeply personal and collaborative process. Always dedicated to ensuring a seamless journey from initial concept to final construction, working closely alongside our trusted partners.
