Established in early 2025, Rio Studio has rapidly evolved into a trusted design destination. In a remarkably short span of time, we have cultivated a robust portfolio of beautifully executed projects and a loyal base of satisfied clients & developers who have entrusted us with their homes. We are immensely proud of the elevated spaces we have curated so far, but this is only the beginning of our creative journey —

Founder & Principal Designer

RIO STUDIO is led by Mariana Pinheiro, architect and interior designer, whose work is rooted in the relationship between space and human experience.

With a background in architecture and a specialization in Neuroarchitecture and Environmental Psychology, Mariana brings a unique perspective to design — one that goes beyond form and function to explore how environments can influence well-being, behavior, and emotion.

Her approach is intuitive yet highly intentional, combining technical expertise with a refined sensitivity to materials, proportions, and atmosphere. Rather than following a predefined style, Mariana’s work is shaped by each client’s identity, resulting in spaces that feel authentic, elevated, and entirely their own.

Based in Tampa, FL. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Mariana holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Blending contemporary Brazilian architecture with refined classic European design and traditional American influences, she brings a global perspective to each project while maintaining a deeply personal and collaborative process.
