This residential project was born from the desire of a special family to create a retreat in the mountains that would seamlessly combine contemporary architecture with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The house features a light architectural language, defined by an exposed steel structure that gently rests on the terrain. At the same time, the abundant use of wood in varied patterns evokes the timeless essence of traditional mountain chalets, creating a harmonious dialogue between modern design and rustic warmth.

One of the central design premises was to establish a strong connection between architecture and nature. The residence opens itself to the surrounding greenery as if it were part of the landscape, with volumes carefully positioned to respect and enhance the natural terrain.

More than simply a house, the project was conceived as a place for gathering, celebration, and quiet moments with family. Whether enjoying a relaxed afternoon by the pool or a peaceful moment with a book, the home offers spaces that encourage connection and comfort.

Designed to feel timeless and enduring, the residence was envisioned as a place where memories could be created and passed down through generations.

Located in Secretário, in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro, the project reflects the beauty of its natural surroundings while providing a refined yet deeply welcoming retreat.
