Project

Wine Room

This project was conceived as a transformation of an underutilized living area and a forgotten powder room into a refined and inviting retreat dedicated to the client’s passion for wine and meaningful gatherings.

The original space lacked identity and purpose. The intervention redefined it entirely—introducing a carefully designed layout, a custom climate-controlled wine cellar, and a reimagined powder room, all working together as a cohesive and immersive experience. The result is not merely a functional upgrade, but the creation of a destination within the home.

The design language is rooted in warmth and timeless sophistication. Rich wood paneling, natural stone, leather, and layered textiles were selected to evoke a sense of intimacy and comfort, while maintaining an elevated and elegant atmosphere. The color palette—composed of deep earthy tones, warm neutrals, and subtle green accents—reinforces this balance between coziness and understated luxury.

Lighting plays a fundamental role in shaping the ambiance. Soft, indirect illumination highlights textures and materials, enhancing depth and creating a welcoming, almost cinematic mood throughout the space.

The wine cellar becomes the centerpiece of the project—both functional and architectural—designed to properly store the collection while also serving as a visual statement. Adjacent to it, the seating area invites slow moments, conversation, and appreciation, transforming the act of enjoying wine into a complete sensory experience.

The powder room follows the same design philosophy, combining noble materials and refined details to extend the identity of the space, ensuring continuity and coherence.

Ultimately, this project translates the client’s lifestyle into a space that feels intimate, elegant, and timeless—a place designed not only to enjoy wine, but to celebrate connection, presence, and the art of hosting.
